Under the ownership of Shore Points Capital, Newport Systems Inc. has rolled out their new website and the NSi brand. This investment represents Newport’s commitment to evolve and exceed the demands of the multi-modal supply chain and intermodal industry. Part of Newport’s corporate strategy and technical evolution is to transition our systems and services to a single source platform, NSi-MODAL. This transition will be done in parallel with our day-to-day operation and commitment to customer support.
The first phase of the NSi-MODAL platform was the delivery of our cross-browser technology, the creation of Direct Connect, a modern integration platform built on micro-services utilizing advanced API’s to deliver faster EDI capabilities, and the redesign of our Mobile Reefer Monitoring application.
The NSi brand signifies our commitment to provide the technologies and solutions that work to “connect the intermodal industry”. For over 20 years, Newport has always had a keen “i” for intermodal. We strive to provide technologies and solutions that innovate and integrate information for the intermodal industry.
